Breccia's Trento Spumante Riserva Extra Brut is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, mostly from the Val di Cembra and a small portion from the Piana Rotaliana. The grapes harvested at higher altitudes concentrate the freshness that is then found in the taste. The nose is broad, opening with interesting citrus and floral notes, followed by sweet hints of vanilla pod and butter biscuits. The palate is vertical and sharp, with a slight creaminess due to prolonged ageing on the lees. It pairs perfectly with fried fish or linguine with crab and aromatic herbs
