The Uva Rara by Pietro Torti is a fresh and drinkable red wine, produced with a typical Pavia grape in purity, rare in name and in fact. In fact, Uva Rara is more often used in blends with other grape varieties to provide aromaticity and structure thanks to its high sugar content. On the nose, it is direct, with intense aromas of red fruits and has a slightly spicy finish, while on the palate it is straightforward, direct, and has persistent aromaticity. Try it with cured meats, preferably typical of Pavia.

silt and clay for balanced and elegant wines. The climate is continental with harsh, foggy winters and hot, sultry summers subject to drought. The grape harvest is done manually, and in the winery, alcoholic fermentation occurs thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts in steel, followed by further aging always in steel for several months.

The color of the "Uva Rara" by Pietro Torti presents itself in the glass as a ruby red with intense reflections tending towards violet. The aromas recall red fruits like raspberry and cherry, and in the finish, spices are perceived, among which nutmeg stands out; on the palate it is lively and enveloping with good freshness and a final persistence that invites glass after glass. Excellent paired with stewed white meats, traditional Lombard cold cuts, and first courses seasoned with vegetables; also interesting with fresh cheeses. A product to be enjoyed throughout the meal during convivial gatherings with long-time friends or on the festive family table to savor a product with unexpected flavors.
