The Vermentino Colli di Luni 'Vigne Basse' Terenzuola is born on the hills of Fosdinovo, at the border between Tuscany and Liguria, and features a label illustrated by Maria Tacchini. A dozen selected clones of Vermentino with a small balance of Albarola grow on sandy-loamy soils rich in pebbles. The grapes, hand-picked and welcomed into the cellar by gravity, ferment in steel at controlled temperature and rest for 3 months on their own yeasts. On the nose, notes of white flowers, citrus, and peach open up, with a touch of Mediterranean herbs. The sip is fresh and savory, agile and pleasantly smooth.
