Schiava Hochklaus 2021

The Schiava from Hochklaus is a fruity, intense red wine of pleasant complexity. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 550 metres with extreme slopes, populated by vines that are at least 30 years old. Vinification is reminiscent of the splendours of ancient traditions, with part of the mass crushed on foot as in the past. After 18 months in barrique, this red wine is ready for bottling. The nose releases aromas of red fruits with delicate floral notes and pleasant hints of vanilla. The palate is fresh and fragrant, with soft tannins and a pleasant savoury finish. Ideal with savoury game dishes
