From our sommeliers

Agricola Ancestrale's Vino I is a macerated white from Southern Italy, made with rare local white grapes that the producer, Giuseppe Mascoli, works hard to preserve. After aging, this white wine acquires unique and important characteristics: hints of citrus and candied fruit meet spicy and iodized hints on the nose, while on the palate it is vibrant, with a distinct salty streak and remarkable freshness, surprising for a wine from Southern Italy. Perfect with fish dishes but also worth trying with light citrusy desserts

occurs spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts with skin maceration.

Visually, the macerated white ‘Vino I’ from Agricola Ancestrale expresses an intense straw yellow color tending towards golden. The bouquet is distinctly evocative, defined by aromas of orange, lemon zest, candied fruits, and Mediterranean herbs, surrounded by pleasant hints of almond and saltiness. The taste development is dynamic and fragrant, very flavorful and fresh, with a enveloping body that is accompanied by a very slight tannic sensation. This white wine represents the ideal complement to various seafood first and second courses.
