This whisky reflects the desire of friends Pete and Duncan, founders of the Woven project, to offer more contemporary whiskies that can meet the refined taste of new generations of enthusiasts. Just to emphasize the peculiar originality of their spirits, the two friends market their whiskies in a bottle with a singular appearance, quite different from that of traditional whiskies.
The Woven ‘No.11 Peachy’ Blended Scotch Whisky Experience is crafted through the combination of as many as 6 different Scottish whiskies, specifically a 36.3% whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery, a 25.3% whisky from Strathclyde Distillery, a 15.2% Highland Single Malt whisky, a 13.1% whisky from Glentauchers Distillery, a 5.05% whisky from Cameronbridge Distillery, and a 5.05% whisky from Glasgow Distillery 1770. Each spirit has been produced in Scotland from pure malted barley and of grain through a distillation process in copper stills. The long aging took place in oak barrels of different types and the whiskies were finally blended and left to rest for 45 days, a step known as marrying that precedes the final bottling.
