The Aleatico of Sequerciani is a sweet passito wine with an intense purplish color, vinified in small cement tanks and aged in terracotta amphorae. Intense and deep notes of red roses, violets, and red fruit accompany a sweet, balanced, intense, and very long tasting experience.

The Aleatico of Sequerciani is a sweet passito produced with this historic grape variety grown inland of the Tuscan Coast and especially on the island of Elba. It is a wine with an ancient face, vinified in cement and aged in terracotta amphorae, in order to preserve all its varietal typicity and aromatic intensity. Its deep and concentrated aromas seduce the palate with harmonious floral sensations and broad notes of red fruit. It is the passito typical of the Tuscan tradition, particularly suited to pair with dark chocolate or bitter cocoa desserts, perhaps accompanied by fresh berries.

The sweet passito Aleatico is an interesting dessert wine produced by the Tuscan winery Sequerciani, a reality that manages a large estate in the Tuscan Maremma, not far from the Tyrrhenian coast of the Etruscan Coast. The eight hectares of vineyards are located in a beautiful hilly area at about 200-250 meters above sea level, surrounded by about sixty hectares of arable fields and olive trees, which guarantee significant biodiversity.environmental. In the countryside, the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture are followed, without the use of herbicides or chemical substances. In the choice of grape varieties, preference has been given to the indigenous ones of the territory with the intent to produce only wines with an authentic and sincere face, through minimal cellar practices.

The dessert wine Aleatico of Sequerciani is made by drying the best selected bunches in the vineyard on trellises exposed to the sun. Once the grapes have dehydrated, concentrating the sugars and aromas, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement takes place. The wine matures for 6 months in terracotta jars before being bottled. In the glass, it presents itself with a very intense purple-red color. The bouquet expresses very intense aromas, reminiscent of the scent of violet, dried rose petals, seductive and soft aromas of berry jam and red fruit. The taste is broad, dense, and rich, with very ripe fruit and a long and persistent finish.
