Aligoté

The Aligoté by the Domaine Verret is a territorial interpretation of the Burgundian "petit vin" par excellence, which in its frankness expresses however character and ease of drinking. It is characterized by a greenish color, a sign of freshness and youth, with aromatic citrus notes and light white fruit such as green apples and fresh pears. The mouthfeel is light but identifying, with light savoury references that make it an excellent wine for a snack.

The "Corvée Eglise" from the Henri Richard winery is an Aligoté-based wine made in the Côte de Nuits area. The grapes harvested from vineyards that are between 30 and 45 years old are fermented by indigenous yeasts and aged in oak barrels for a period that varies according to the vintage. From Burgundy, an intense wine with hints of lemon and aromatic herbs that gives aromas of caramelized pear, for a fresh sip and at the same time juicy and creamy

The Aligoté by Louis Latour is a fresh, easy drinking and delicate wine from Burgundy, vinified and aged in steel vats. At nose the are fruity perfumes of apple, almonds and white flowers. In mouth it is energic and dynamic, with expressinve and balanced mineral notes

The Bourgogne Aligotè by Domaine Ami has a certain style: fresh, rustic and yet fine. This Domaine was born from the collaboration of Willy and Paul, who decided to seal their friendship by opening this winery in Burgundy. Processed in a strictly artisanal manner, it is a white that is produced from Aligoté grapes, a variety often undeservedly mistreated. Hints of citrus emanate from the glass, there are caramel and hazelnut on the finish then in the mouth is a swirl of tension, freshness, pleasant 'funkiness'. To drink now or wait a few years for a full and more evolved expression

Bourgogne Blanc from the French winery Maison En Belles Lies is a lively and generous pure Aligotè with excellent potential and perfect for accompanying aperitifs and shellfish. The grapes are carefully selected by hand and vinified in an artisanal manner, the wine is matured for 14 months on fine lees in steel and a small part in barrique. It presents itself to the glass with an intense straw-yellow mantle with golden hues while the nose enjoys aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit, the sip is aromatic and fresh with a slightly balsamic finish

French winery Marchand Tawse's Aligoté is a white wine of great balance and freshness perfect for accompanying fish and vegetable dishes. It is made from pure grapes of the same name from vines more than 50 years old, aging for 11 months in French oak barrels before bottling. The straw-yellow color with brilliant reflections introduces floral and fruity aromas that give way to a smooth sip but supported by pleasant sapidity

The Aligoté by Pierre Morey is a fresh and expressive white wine from Burgundy, characterized by a great balance and by a fresh and mineral liveliness. The aging of 12 months in concrete and wooden barrels contribute to the elegance of an aromatic profile rich in fresh fruits, flowers and honey. On the palate it is smooth, harmonic, delicate and elegant, with good freshness and savory aromas.

Bourgogne Aligotè Francois Carillon is a fine and lively pure Chardonnay perfect with fish and vegetable dishes. This label is made with the sole use of indigenous yeasts and an ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months. The pale straw yellow colour with golden hues introduces aromas of exotic fruit, vanilla and sweet spices. The taste is soft, balanced, long and with a fresh finish

The Bourgogne Aligotè Sans Soufre by Fabien Coche is a white wine produced by making the 'minor' grape of Burgundy with artisanal care. Aligoté is less planted for the difficulty of processing it but it is nonetheless able to give exciting results. To the nose we perceive intense scents of flowers, apple and intriguing notes of bitter almond, as well as enticing smokiness. Deep and fresh, it has a very sharp and direct sip, on the finish shows a peculiar savory quality, which goes perfectly with salmon or with excellent cheeses 

Aligotè "Plantation" comes from over a hundred year old vines that offer few concentrated fruits. It is a firm Aligoté, medium bodied, fruity and spicy, aged 11 months in used oak barrels.

The Aligoté by the vigneron Sylvain Pataille is a white wine of great brightness, freshness and saline texture, made in the Marsannay area and briefly aged in barrique and stainless steel. The nose has a citrus tone reminiscent of candied lemons, quince, pineapple, herbs and ginger. At the sip it reveals vitality and a disruptive freshness, with a salty and mineral notes.
