The Barbaresco Riserva "Ovello" is a red wine that defies the passage of time and can be left to age for more than 10 years. Endowed with great completeness of taste and with an excellently developed olfactory spectrum, it is a product that thus presents itself with a complex and austere profile, from which emerge all the virtues of Nebbiolo, a grape variety cultivated by the Produttori del Barbaresco winery in the cru that gives the label its name. A bottle that encapsulates in a sip the power, elegance and majesty of one of the world's most popular types of wine.

Ovello is a Barbaresco Riserva that comes from the grapes of that red grape variety that has always given Piedmont its most qualitatively interesting expressions, Nebbiolo. The vines of this variety are cultivated by the Produttori del Barbaresco winery within the Ovello cru, characterized by purely clay and limestone soil and southwest and west-facing exposure. The must ferments in steel containers macerating on the skins for 28 days, also carrying out malolactic fermentation. The production process ends with the important ageing phase, in which the wine remains first for 36 months in oak barrels and then, after bottling operations, for another year in the bottle.

This Barbaresco Riserva "Ovello" unfolds in the glass with a beautiful sparkling ruby red colour, conditioned by more garnet reflections in the rim. The nose teems with fruity aromas, which are well interspersed with floral sensations and touches of liquorice, spices and hints of tobacco. On the palate, it is very full-bodied, powerful and muscular, with a firm sip that progresses on the palate with a nice freshness and a robust tannic texture.
