The "Blanc BB1" is a white wine from the Jura produced from 50-year-old vines of Chardonnay and Savagnin. Aged for 36 months in small wooden barrels, it gives a complex and broad aromatic bouquet, consisting of almond notes, flavors of vanilla, citrus peel, nuances of sweet spices and hints of aromatic herbs. The sip is elegant, lively and rich, of great volume and body, with a pulsating mineral freshness.

The Blanc "BB1" Les Chais de Vieux Bourg is a label created by an interesting domaine from Jura, which produces wines with an authentic and genuine character, in tune with the oldest traditions of this wonderful French territory. In these lands, located at the foot of the mountains, Chardonnay and Savagnin blanc express themselves at excellent quality levels, with wines that have intense aromas and great mineral freshness. Rich and long-lived whites, with complex aromas, that shine especially at the table. Excellent pairings with baked fish, white meats, or a platter of flavorful medium-aged cheeses.

The "BB1" Blanc is a creation of Ludwig Bindernagel and Nathalie Eigenschenck, who established the domaine Les Chais de Vieux Bourg to give voice to the wonderful territory of the French Jura region. The grapes of Chardonnay and Savagnin blanc come from the vineyard Les Vernois. This is a plot planted with 50-year-old vines, resulting from a mass selection of the domaine, located at an altitude of 370 meters above sea level, with a sunny south-facing exposure. The The soils are composed of Marne del Lias, resting on limestone and marl formations. At the end of the manual harvest, the whole clusters are gently pressed and the free-run must is fermented with indigenous yeasts in small wooden barrels. The wine matures in wood, on the fine lees, for about three years, also undergoing malolactic fermentation.

The Blanc "BB1" wine from the domaine Les Chais de Vieux Bourg is an artisanal wine produced each year in just over a thousand bottles, dedicated to enthusiasts seeking the authentic taste of the terroir and labels with a typically genuine character, made with a very low percentage of sulfites. In the glass, it presents a beautiful bright golden yellow. On the nose, it is intense and rich, with evolved aromas of ripe yellow fruit, honey softness, almost buttery sensations, toasted almond aromas, dried fruit, vanilla, soft oriental spices, aromatic herbs, and slight oxidative hints. On the palate, it is broad and seductive, with a creamy sip, complex and harmonious aromas, anticipating a long and persistent finish.
