The Brunello di Montalcino Tenute Silvio Nardi is a rich and enveloping red wine, patiently aged for 12 months in French oak barriques and another 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. With a full, intense, and persistent sip, characterized by soft tannins, it expresses notes of berries, cherry, and aromas of vanilla and tobacco due to the months spent in wood. A classic, elegant wine with great personality, to be paired with red meat and game dishes.

The Brunello di Montalcino Tenute Silvio Nardi is a Sangiovese with a warm and full soul, the result of a blend from different owned vineyards. In fact, the intention behind this wine is to find a balance between the expressions of the different parcels present in the blend, so that each can express its own qualities without ever prevailing over the others. This is the philosophy that has always guided the Nardi family, whose estate extends over two different estates and slopes: Casale del Bosco to the west and Manachiara to the east, equipped with very heterogeneous microclimates and soils.

Tenute Silvio Nardi Brunello di Montalcino is a 100% Sangiovese Grosso whose grapes come from various vineyards in the municipality of Montalcino, generally characterized by soils rich in jasper and clay schists. The exposure varies from northwest to southeast while the average altitude is around 350 meters above sea level. Following the manual harvest of the bunches, carried out during the second half of September, the red winemaking process begins with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with at least 20 days of maceration on the skins. The subsequent aging phase takes place in second-pass Allier oak barriques for the first 12 months and in large Slavonian oak barrels for the following 12 months. Finally, after at least 6 additional months of resting in the bottle, the wine is ready for market release.

The Brunello di Montalcino from Tenute Silvio Nardi is of intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose expresses clean, elegant, and complex aromas of ripe berries, anise, and vanilla that meet ethereal hints. Warm and soft sip, with excellent structure, equipped with well-integrated tannins and good taste persistence!
