Cava Nature 'Bruant' Alta Alella 2022

Alta Alella ‘Bruant’ Cava Nature is a creamy and fragrant bubble that represents a genuine manifestation of the most famous Spanish Metodo Classico. The family-run Catalan winery Alta Alella, located close to the sea, a few kilometers north of Barcelona, specializes in the production of sparkling wines, made with a natural production philosophy based on organic farming and the non-invasiveness of the winemaking process, excluding the use of selected yeasts and exogenous sugars and without any addition of sulfites. These are the premises behind the line “Celler de les Aus”, meaning “cellar of the birds”, with labels named after the birds that inhabit the area.

The 'Bruant' Cava Nature Celler de les Aus Alta Alella is a 100% Pansa Blanca, whose grapes are grown on soils composed of granitic sand, with a southeast exposure, at an altitude between 150 and 300 meters. The vineyards, about 12 years old, are managed under certified organic conditions. Following of the manual harvest, the bunches spend one night in pre-fermentation maceration before being gently pressed. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out exclusively by indigenous yeasts and the subsequent sparkling process takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, without the use of foreign sugars for tiraggio and dosage. The aging in glass on the lees lasts for over 15 months before disgorgement.

The Celler de les Aus Cava Nature ‘Bruant’ from Alta Alella has a pale yellow color with golden reflections and fine effervescence. The aromatic bouquet expresses fresh notes of green apple, accompanied by sweet hints of hazelnut and honey. Crunchy, complex, and refreshing the taste, with lively sparkle and good mineral vein.
