Delamotte Champagne Brut is born in the Cote des Blanc from an assembly of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a small part of Meunier grapes. Aged 24 months in the bottle on the lees, it expresses with a mineral and fresh bouquet, characterized by notes of citrus, fresh white fruit, floral and almond fragrances, giving a creamy, vertical, delicate and fresh sip

The Champagne Brut Delamotte represents the most popular and well-known label of this historic Maison in Mesnil-sur-Oger, which has been producing great Champagnes since 1760 in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Its richness lies in a wonderful domaine, which boasts splendid vineyards cultivated in the famous communal territories of the Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, and Oger. This is a traditional cuvée, with a majority base of Chardonnay, which gives floral and fruity elegance, complemented by the structure of Pinot Noir and the enveloping aromatic richness of Meunier. A perfect harmony of aromas, which offers a fresh and fruity Champagne, elegant and fragrant, perfectly expressing the style of the Maison and the character of the terroir.

The Brut Delamotte is a classic blending Champagne, made with grapes from various areas of the region. The Chardonnay comes from the Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger, the Pinot Noir from Tours-sur-Marne, Bouzy, Ambonnay, and finally, a small percentage of Meunier completes the cuvée. At the endof the harvest operations, the different grapes are vinified separately, with a soft pressing of the bunches and a controlled temperature fermentation. After a few months of aging, the vins clairs are blended to create the final cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a resting period on the lattes of about 24 months.

The Champagne Brut Delamotte is a label with a classic face, a true business card of the Maison. It is ideal for understanding the elegant and harmonious style that characterizes the entire range and is appreciated for its immediate pleasantness. It is a perfect Champagne for all occasions, particularly suitable for a refined aperitif or to accompany appetizers or seafood. The color is light straw yellow, crossed by a luminous, fine, and continuous perlage. On the nose, it seduces with delicate floral scents, citrus fragrances of lemon zest, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, and hints of bread crust. The sip is intense and satisfying, with aripe fruit and a finish of good freshness and persistence.
