Chardonnay By Farr is a full-bodied and complex white wine, made in Australia in the Moorabool Valley, a hundred kilometers away fromthe city of Melbourne. It is fermented spontaneously and aged for 11 months in barrique, leaving a creamy, broad and structured sip, of great length and appreciable freshness, developed on notes of citrus, butter, tropical fruit, vanilla and sweet spices

The Chardonnay By Farr is a white wine intense, rich, and well-structured, which highlights how the Burgundian grape variety has adapted well to the climate and soils of the Moorabool Valley. The Farr estate is located in the Australian region of New South Wales, an area with ancient traditions, already cultivated by European settlers in the early 1800s. The winemaking and aging in wood give the wine a soft face and enveloping aromas, always well balanced by the good freshness that accompanies the sip. It is a gourmand white, very suitable to taste with flavorful baked fish or delicate white meats.

The white Chardonnay is born in the Australian estate By Farr, a sort of small Burgundy of the New World, very suited for quality viticulture. The wine is produced with the best grapes coming from the Sangreal area, characterized by the presence of red clay soils, resting on a deep limestone substrate, where the roots of the vines planted in 1994 with Dijon and Penfolds 58 clones sink. The vineyards have a north-facing exposure, that ensures slower ripening. Once the harvest is completed, the grapes are pressed whole cluster in a very gentle manner. The free-run must ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, directly in French oak barriques for 30% new. The wine rests in wood for 11 months, also undergoing malolactic fermentation, and is bottled only with a light filtration.

The Chardonnay By Farr wine is a typically international version, inspired by the famous and unattainable models of Burgundy. Intense and soft, it is a white suitable for those who prefer complexity and aromatic richness. Visually, it presents a beautiful bright light yellow color with brilliant golden reflections. The bouquet expresses elegant aromas of citrus zest, grapefruit, cantaloupe, peach, pineapple, ripe yellow fruit, hints of tropical fruit, buttery notes of pastry, hints of toasted almond and dried fruit. The sip is rich and broad, harmonious and fruity, with a balanced, long, fresh, and pleasantly savory finish.
