Chardonnay 'Kalk' Nals Margreid 2024

The Chardonnay “Kalk” by Nals Margreid is a high-altitude white wine from South Tyrol where the varietal manages to express itself with liveliness and cheerfulness. The processing carried out exclusively in steel undoubtedly enhances the most typical notes of the grape, that fruit which takes on different connotations on the nose before leading to a sip of excellent smoothness. A label that tells the excellent work done by the winery, which can now count on the work of as many as 140 grape growers, who carefully and attentively monitor over 150 hectares of land, thus offering a varied range of grapes and terroirs that are extremely different from each other at the time of harvest.

The “Kalk” is a Chardonnay that the Nals Margreid winery produces starting from different parcels, included within the DOC of South Tyrol. The bunches are carefully selected during the manual harvest phase and are immediately transferred to the areas designated for winemaking, where the destemming operations are carried out. This is followed by a gentle pressing of the grapes, and the obtained must ferments in stainless steel containers.made of stainless steel. The final maturation phase consists of a quick passage in steel, lasting 5 months. At the end of this short period, the wine is ready to be bottled and put on the market.

The Chardonnay 'Kalk' from the Nals Margreid winery presents itself with a concentrated straw yellow color.
