The Chianti Classico from Le Cinciole is a pure Sangiovese produced in the wonderful territory of Panzano. It represents one of the reference labels of the denomination and stands out for its elegance and absolute quality. The Chianti Classico wine is born in one of the most interesting wineries of this historic denomination. It is a small family-run business managing a farm of about 30 hectares, of which 10 are dedicated to vineyards, predominantly cultivated with Sangiovese. The vines are located at an altitude between 430 and 500 meters above sea level, with a beautiful sunny exposure facing southeast. The soils are made up of clay-limestone schists, which with progressive disintegration generate the famous and prized galestro soils, which rest on a substrate of mother rock of pietraforte. The vineyard is managed with full respect for the environment under organic farming practices. For the few treatments, only sulfur, copper, seaweed, clays, propolis, and plant extracts are used, trying to promote the natural balance of the plants without any forcing and with few fertilizations of only natural manure. The harvest is done manually, with selection in the vineyard of the best bunches. The grapes are destemmed, gently pressed, and started to spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks, with only indigenous yeasts. The wine matures for 12 months in 20-hectoliter French oak barrels and for another 12 months in cement tanks before being bottled.
