The Etna Rosso "De Aetna" is an elegant and characterful red wine capable of expressing the warm and intense soul of the great volcano. The typical aromas of ripe red fruit, licorice with mineral hints project from an intense ruby red liquid, endowed with remarkable finesse and a persistent mineral finish.

The Etna Rosso "De Aetna" by Terra Costantino is the synthesis of the volcano's land painted in red. The winery is located on the South-East slope of Etna, more precisely in Contrada Blandano in the territory of Viagrande. The winemaking history here has existed for hundreds of years, as evidenced by the dates engraved on some palmenti, the traditional places where winemaking took place. Since then, every wise winemaker was aware of a great truth, now affirmed by the words of the owners Dino and Fabio Costantino: “we listen to the grapes, we smell the earth, we caress the vineyard. When the sun beats down, when the cold nights blow on the shoots, when the colors of the leaves change, we are there. However, we do not make the wine. The wine, here, is made by Etna”. To emphasize and affirm this love and respect for their land with facts, the Terra Costantino winery works according to organic methods. They want to be wise guides, accompanying the magic of Etna from the cluster to the bottle, offering it to the consumer in all its naturalness.

"De Aetna" is obtained from the typical indigenous red blend of the area: Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, present at 90% and 10% respectively. These grapes come from vines with an average age of 35 years, planted in sandy volcanic soils located at 450-550 meters above sea level. The vines are cultivated according to different planting systems, among which the alberello stands out, as it finds its ideal habitat here since the black soils of Etna suffocate the Phylloxera. Once the grapes are harvested and pressed, the must undergoes maceration for ten days and fermentation in steel tanks. The aging takes place in oak tonneaux and lasts for a few months.

Terra Costantino "De Aetna" lights up with a ruby red color with fascinating garnet reflections, almost reminiscent of the lava from the great volcano. The aroma unfolds with hints of violet, red fruits, licorice, and a spicy note of black pepper. On the palate, it expresses a intense and
