'Foglianella' Marinferno
Artisanal"Foglianella" di Marinferno is a dry white wine typical of Piacenza, produced with overripe Ortrugo grapes and a small part of Chardonnay. It is vinified and matured in concrete tanks, presenting a fresh, repetitive taste with pleasant rustic notes, yellow pulp fruit and dried flowers.
“Foglianella” by Marinferno is a white wine that represents the territory of the Colli Piacentini very well. It is produced with a majority percentage of the native white grape variety Ortrugo and a small percentage of Chardonnay, the noble Burgundy grape, which contributes to giving the wine elegant floral and fruity nuances. The winemaking process takes place using the blending technique, meaning that both grapes are combined uncrushed directly during fermentation, to harmonize the aromas of the two varieties right from the start and obtain a single wine. The result is a white with a straightforward and direct profile and a pleasantly rustic character, reminiscent of the good artisanal wine of the past, made with simple and natural winemaking practices. The beautiful label has also won a merit award in the packaging section 3x3 mag. If the three different labels are placed next to each other, it is noticeable that they create a complete image representing a Bacchanal.
The wine “Foglianella” is one of the most interesting creations of a bright golden reflections. The aromas are rich and exuberant, with notes of broom, citrus peel, aromatic herbs, ripe yellow fruit, and hints of tropical fruit. On the palate, it is broad, with juicy and satisfying fruit, which unfolds harmoniously towards a balanced and persistent finish. A wine dedicated to those seeking authentic flavors.
