Franciacorta"Pinònero Nature" is a vintage Blanc de Noir of great balance, aged for 60 months on the lees. Briefly matured in steel and barrique, it reveals a complex olfactory bouquet of citrus, pink grapefruit and orange blossoms, with hints of white flowers, wild strawberry and acacia honey. A the mouth it has a delightful citrusy and mineral freshness and floral notes

The Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero “Pinònero Natura” by Contadi Castaldi is an intense and elegant Vintage. A careful selection of the best grapes from the Franciacorta territory allows for the creation of a particularly charming Blanc de Noir. The typical structure of Pinot Noir and its aromatic richness are enhanced by a partial vinification in wood. The long aging period on the lees allows the wine to acquire a notable aromatic complexity and great expressive depth, with aromas ranging from citrus notes to small red berry fruits, always well supported by a lively freshness.

The “Pinònero Natura” is a Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Vintage made by one of the most recognized names in this Lombard sparkling wine denomination. Contadi Castaldi is a recent reality, founded in 1991 by Vittorio Moretti, already the owner of the famous Bellavista brand. Thanks to a solid experience, Contadi Castaldi has quickly established itself with quality Franciacorta versions, often characterized by an innovative and modern taste. Currently, the estate extends over an area of about eighteen hectares, divided into parcels located in various areas of Franciacorta. Although the tradition of Franciacorta is essentially based on a Classic Method predominantly using Chardonnay, there are some areas where Pinot Noir expresses itself at excellent levels. The grapes used come from prized vineyards over 25 years old, which are cultivated partly using the Guyot method and partly with the ancient Casarsa method.

The Dosaggio Zero “Pinònero Natura” by Contadi Castaldi is an atypical Franciacorta, compared to a territory where Chardonnay is primarily cultivated. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and the free-run must is vinified in white, with a fermentation of about three weeks in stainless steel containers. The base wines age for a period of 7 months, partly in steel and partly in wood. After the creation of the final blend, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with a resting period on the lees of at least 60 months. In the glass, it presents a straw yellow color with slight golden reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent. The aromatic profile expresses aromas of citrus, pink grapefruit, nuances of white flowers and notes of small red berry fruits. On the palate, it is intense, deep, and austere, with a harmonious mid-palate and a pleasantly dry, fresh, and savory finish.
