The Franciacorta Extra Brut "Nefertiti Dizeta" is the pride of Vezzoli, a beautiful Franciacorta winery that surprised us at the recent Vinitaly for the elegance and freshness of its sparkling wines. We are in the heart of Franciacorta, more precisely in Erbusco; it is here that Vezzoli laid the foundations for its great success. A success achieved thanks to full respect for the terroir, selecting the best grape varieties and the best vineyards.
Dizeta stands for dosage zero and this is precisely the main characteristic of Vezzoli's Franciacorta "Nefertiti": at disgorgement, no dosage syrup is added in order to maintain all the original characteristics of this beautiful Franciacorta, which is produced from Chardonnay grapes at optimal ripeness. Grapes that are carefully selected and left to ferment for 6 months in barrique, then aged on the lees for at least 40.
