Gin 'Kew Gardens' East London Liquor Company is a deliciously fragrant and botanical gin, made in collaboration with the Kew Royal Botanical Garden. The precious botanicals in this gin come directly from Kew Gardens, most notably the Douglas Fir, which imparts a wonderful pine flavour. The harmonious blend of lavender and sweet orange peel, courtesy of our pollinator friends, celebrated on the vibrant packaging, makes this gin an authentic representative of the values and essence of Kew.

The London spirits brand East London Liquor Company presents Gin ‘Kew Gardens’, a balsamic and floral gin that unites East and West London in favor of a noble cause aimed at promoting biodiversity and botanical research. In fact, this bottle is born from the collaboration between the East London Liquor Company distillery, located in the eastern part of London, and the Kew Royal Botanical Gardens, the enchanting botanical gardens located at the western end of the English capital. For the production, botanicals sourced from Kew Gardens have been used and 10% of the proceeds from each bottle is donated to the same gardens that host “the largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world”, thus supporting research and fostering the proliferation of precious pollinator insects.

For the production of Gin ‘Kew Gardens’ by East London Liquor Company, the head botanist of Kew Gardens handpicks every month the lavender and the leavesof the Douglas fir, a coniferous variety widespread along the West Coast of the North American continent. The other botanicals used include juniper berries, sweet orange peels, coriander seeds, angelica root, fennel seeds, and licorice root. All these ingredients are infused and then distilled in copper stills.

The appearance of Gin ‘Kew Gardens’ by East London Liquor Company is crystalline and transparent. The aromatic spectrum expresses intense suggestions of orange peel and licorice, accompanied by precious floral hints of lavender and balsamic notes of fennel and Douglas fir. The freshness of the tasting is supported by a subtle yet persistent sweetness that combines with the floral tasting returns in an irresistible blend.
