The “Marconi 42 Mediterraneo” Gin from the Venetian distillery Jacopo Poli was born from the desire of one of the most renowned and respected masters of grappa distillation to challenge himself with gin production. This label fits perfectly into the now well-established international trend of creating spirits inspired by their territory of origin. Starting from the classic model of London Dry Gin and its core ingredients, Jacopo Poli set out to craft a bottle with a distinctly Mediterranean spirit and aroma, using a refined selection of botanicals that transport us to the warm, sun-drenched atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast, surrounded by the scents of its wild vegetation.
The “Marconi 42 Mediterraneo” Gin is the result of careful research aimed at achieving the perfect blend of ingredients capable of faithfully expressing the intense, rich, and complex fragrances we experience when walking by the sea through the shrubs of the Mediterranean maquis. At its base are rosemary, mint, basil, thyme, cardamom, coriander, and of course, essential juniper berries. After the infusion and extraction of aromas, the distillation process takes place entirely in an artisanal way, using a bain-marie vacuum still, which allows the preservation of the full aromatic intensity of the botanicals, transferring it directly into the bottle without compromising its fragrance.
