The “Roku” is a Gin that the renowned Japanese distillery Suntory produces starting from a careful selection of “botanicals”, to be infused in alcohol. The botanicals are divided between Japanese ones – where we find cherry blossoms and leaves, Sencha green tea, Gyokuro green tea, Sansho pepper, and yuzu – and traditional ones, where alongside the juniper berries, we discover coriander, angelica roots and seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, orange peel, and lemon peel. The distillation process uses stills, both copper and steel, that operate following the discontinuous method.
