Grappa di Barolo in barrique Marolo
The Grappa di Barolo in barrique signed by Marolo is a distillate with broad aromas, where deep and vivid touches chase each other, and varietal notes fade into the tertiary. The nose is the prelude to a sip that envelops the palate with warmth, developing with harmony and gentleness, giving life to a smooth drink, ideal for accompanying post-dinner conversations. A bottle that once again confirms, if there was any need, the prestige of the distillery Marolo, a name inextricably linked to quality Piedmontese Grappa.
The Grappa di Barolo in barrique is produced by Marolo starting from the pomace of Nebbiolo intended for the production of Barolo DOCG. The pomace, carefully selected by the distillery team, arrives fresh in the distillation premises, thus ensuring maximum intensity of aromas and organoleptic properties. The production process uses stills that operate with steam boilers, and artisanal techniques blend with the most modern equipment suitable for specifically monitoring every phase of distillation. A once obtained as Grappa, it is transferred for 4 years in oak barrels for the aging phase.
Marolo Grappa di Barolo in barrique made by the Marolo distillery presents itself visually with a color reminiscent of amber, with a beautiful intensity. The nose is generous, enveloped by nuances where fruit is the protagonist, from which gentle spicier, sweet, and subtle hints emerge. It enters the mouth with a warm, round, and enveloping sip, almost tactile and chewable, where an important alcohol level is appreciated; it closes with a finish that has excellent persistence. A bottle that confirms Marolo's ability to create labels that authentically tell the story of some of the most important and characteristic wines of Piemonte.
