Perfect to give as a giftThe Grappa "Dedicated to Father" is the product that, within the range produced by the Marolo distillery in Alba, has the highest alcohol content, presenting a final gradation of as much as 60%. From this detail, it is clear that we are dealing with a distillate of great respect, which makes warmth on the palate and a powerful sip its trademarks. However, the sip is always pleasant and never seems disturbed or limited in its aromatic fullness and development. Thanks to Marolo, a great production reality in Piemonte, which for more than forty years has been producing labels of substance, in which Grappa is the undisputed protagonist.
The Grappa "Dedicated to Father" is made by the Marolo distillery starting from the freshest and selected pomace of different red grape varieties grown in the Piemonte area of Roero. The distillation takes place following the discontinuous bain-marie method and is strictly manual, followed in every phase with the utmost attention and care for details. At the end of the processing process, the Grappa is not aged in wood, hence the reason for the white color in the glass, but is immediately bottled and marketed.
This Grappa "Dedicated to Father" appears completely colorless, with a clear and crystalline tone. On the nose, one perceives sharp, clean sensations that evoke spices and juniper berries, enriched by more fruity notes. On the palate, it has an excellent body, warm and energetic, with a sip that flows on the palate in perfect balance, with a finish of clear aromatic cleanliness. A label with which Marolo confirms its usual excellent quality standards, perfect for accompanying the evolution of the evening after dinner.
