On the palate it is elegant, soft and clear, with a long and persistent finish

It is a bottle of great expressive balance, pleasing both those who love the fruity aromas of the grape and those who appreciate the notes derived from aging in wood. It is an excellent production, released on the market in a numbered edition and in fine boxes. Perfect for a gift or an evening with friends.

The 12-Year-Old Barolo Grappa, made by Marolo at the Distilleria Santa Teresa, is a tribute to the Langhe territory and to the personality of its most prestigious and famous wine. It is a true ambassador of the great distillates from this corner of Piemonte, offering the possibility to propose top-level labels. The grappa is produced from Nebbiolo pomace, coming only and exclusively from wineries from the territory of the Barolo denomination. The raw material is processed while still fresh and fragrant. During the careful distillation process, all the refined scents and elegant varietal aromas typical of Nebbiolo grapes are extracted. Before bottling, the grappa matures for a period of 12 years in small oak barrels, rounding off the youthful edges and acquiring greater aromatic complexity.

The 12-Year-Aged Grappa di Barolo, produced by Distilleria Santa Teresa di Marolo, is a bottle dedicated to those who love barrel-aged grappas, yet capable of preserving a rich and expressive fruit. In the glass, it presents a light amber color with bright reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe yellow fruit, candied fruit, raisins, orange peel, soft sensations of oriental spices, cloves, and vanilla, delicate hints of dried fruit, and woody nuances. The sip is harmonious and inviting, with a pleasant fruity fragrance, enriched by elegant tertiary evolution notes, typical of aging.in wood. The finish is long, pleasantly dry, and very persistent.
