La Valdotaine's Liquore ai Mirtilli dei Montagna is a typical expression of Valdostan liqueur making. The juice of black mountain blueberries, harvested between 1,000 and 2,000 metres above the sea level, is skilfully combined with grappa made with fresh Piedmontese pomace and added sugar. The nose offers an intense blueberry scent, a reminder of the mountains. On the palate it is sweet and vibrant, also thanks to the wealth of minerals and vitamins. Perfect to end a meal and accompany fruit desserts

The Mountain Blueberry Liqueur from the small artisanal distillery La Valdotaine is a Valdostan liqueur with extraordinary fruity intensity, made with small mountain blueberries from the Aosta Valley. Besides being particularly tasty, the blueberry is a fruit rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, used by La Valdotaine to combine benefits, flavor, and aroma. The distillery's goal is to nurture the liqueur tradition of the Aosta Valley by producing bitters, vermouths, grappas, liqueurs, gins, and vodkas of the highest quality, always enhancing the alpine identity of the region.

La Valdotaine Mountain Blueberry Liqueur originates from the infusion in pure alcohol of small black blueberries harvested at altitudes between 1,000 and 2,000 meters above sea level. To further enhance the flavor and aroma of the fruit, the liqueur is then diluted with blueberry juice to an alcohol content of 25%. The liquid is finally packaged in a characteristic 70 cl bottle that recalls the shape of elixirs sold in pharmacies.between the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.

Upon visual examination, the Liquore ai Mirtilli di Montagne by La Valdotaine shows a dark and intense violet appearance. The olfactory panorama is described by vivid fruity sensations of blueberry, combined with delicate hints of macerated grape that recall the aroma of grappa. The sip is fresh and fragrant, pleasantly sweet and persistent, with a finish that evokes the fruity taste of blueberry. The same producer suggests enjoying his Liquore ai Mirtilli di Montagna to deliciously conclude the meal, letting oneself be transported on a walk among the mountain blueberry bushes.
