The Marsala Rubino "Uncle Joseph" by Pellegrino is a sweet, very fruity red dessert wine made from Nero d’Avola grapes and aged for over 24 months in large oak barrels. It has aromas of sour cherries and red fruit in jam and offers a soft, sweet, sugary, and fruity sip. Excellent with desserts, cheeses, or for creating cocktails.

The Marsala Superiore Rubino Dolce "Uncle Joseph" from the Sicilian winery Pellegrino is a fortified wine of great traditions, offered in a pleasantly fragrant and fruity version. It is produced with pure Nero d'Avola grapes, the most famous red grape variety in the region. It is a label that renews the centuries-old history of this wine with a young and appealing look. After a long aging in wood, the Marsala reveals its charm with aromas of small red berries, hints of jam, a soft and pleasantly sweet sip.  It is a classic dessert wine that can accompany dark chocolate or cocoa desserts, or it can be used to prepare cocktails with an original twist.

"Uncle Joseph" is a Marsala Superiore Rubino Dolce produced by one of the most important and largest Sicilian wineries. Founded at the end of the 19th century in Marsala, Pellegrino manages several estates in various areas of western Sicily and on the island of Pantelleria. The historic tradition of Marsala fortified wine has been the basis of its success. Even though the current production is oriented towards a range of dry wines, Marsala has always remained a staple of the winery. In recent years, a gradual renewal of the image of Marsala has begun, with the intention of making it known to new generations, with a series of more appealing labels and wines that are easier and more pleasant to drink, excellent for use in the modern art of mixology.

The Marsala Superiore Rubino Dolce "Uncle Joseph" produced by Pellegrino is a label created to give new shine to a wine of the Sicilian tradition, which for a long time has brought fortune to the city of Marsala. The Nero d'Avola grapes are cultivated in predominantly clayey soils in the hilly inland of Mazara del Vallo. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are sent for fermentation, which is stopped with the addition of brandy, in order to maintain a residual sugar content and make the sip softer, sweeter, and more seductive.
