The Moscato Giallo by Manincor is a captivating white, born among the sunny slopes of South Tyrol. With aromas of nutmeg, cedar, and grapefruit, it seduces at first sip with its freshness and intensity. Crafted with artisanal care and aged on the lees, it offers a persistent and savory flavor. Perfect for aperitifs or paired with Asian cuisine and flavorful cheeses, it delights with every taste.

Manincor Moscato Giallo is a dry white wine with anintensely aromatic identity produced in the Kaltern area, one of the most prestigious wine-growing areas in the whole of Alto Adige. Moscato Giallo is a white grape variety belonging to the vast and complex Muscat family, whose origin lies in the Middle Eastern Mediterranean basin. It was then the ancient Greeks who spread the grape variety to Italy. Compared to Moscato Bianco, which is cultivated throughout most of the Peninsula, Moscato Giallo is mainly found in Veneto and South Tyrol, although sporadic vineyards are also present in other regions.

Manincor Moscato Giallo is an expression of the aromatic variety of the same name cultivated mainly in the Mareit Leiten locality in the Kaltern area. The vines, rooted on steep, sunny south-facing slopes, benefit from the altitude of 350 metres above sea level and the detrital origin of the soil, formed from moraine deposits. Other vineyards are located in Vogelleiten and Panholzer, where the soils are rich in clay and limestone debris. The agronomic management of the estate is based on biodynamic principles, and in the cellar the grapes, harvested entirely by hand, are first destemmed and then left for 12 hours in pellicular maceration directly in the press. The must thus obtained undergoes alcoholic fermentation between stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels, the same containers where the 5-month maturation period on the fine lees takes place.

Manincor's Moscato Giallo has a brilliant straw yellow colour. The nose offers intriguing varietal hints of citron, grapefruit and nutmeg, enhanced by hints of yellow-fleshed fruit. In the mouth it is intense and savoury, fresh and balanced, with persistent fruity sensations on the finish.
