The Nosiola by Pojer e Sandri is a harmonious and delicate white wine from Trentino, vinified only in steel. It emanates light nuances of fruit, apple, flowers, and almonds. On the palate, it is fresh, dynamic, agile, and pleasant, with wide gastronomic versatility. Excellent with appetizers and aperitifs.

The Nosiola Pojer e Sandri earns its place among the various labels produced by this symbolic winery from Trentino. Among the vineyards scattered in Faedo, between the Val di Cembra and the Dolomites, the native white grape variety grows, tenaciously desired and proudly enhanced in the regional wine scene, where it currently covers a very small area. In the reality built by Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri, this typical alpine variety, which is often little known, but possesses personality, tenacity, and a great evolutionary potential, could certainly not be missing.

The Nosiola grapes from Pojer e Sandri grow on the slopes of the Faedo cone at an altitude between 300 and 500 meters above sea level. The upper layer of the soil is composed of silt and limestone, while the deeper layer consists of marly conglomerates. The training system is the Trentino pergoletta, the harvest is manual and expertly selective. From here, the grapes undergo a washing process through a tank treatment, so that they lose any unwanted residues. Before fermentation, inert gases are used to remove oxygen and avoid oxidation from contact, before moving on to the next phase always in controlled atmosphere environments.

Pojer e Sandri offer, with their Nosiola, a wine that is easy to drink, but with a peculiar and unique character. With a pale straw yellow color, with greenish hues, it transitions to the fruity notes that come from the glass. The connection to the queen of the Trentino valleys, the yellow-skinned apple, is unmistakable, standing out clearly above everything else. There are also hints of mountain white flowers and then, just as distinct, sensations of almonds, hazelnuts, and citrus. In the mouth, it flows quickly and fresh, seeming to bounce between the white Dolomite rocks, while the sapidity gives it fragrance and length, in an ideal marriage between light appetizers and dishes based on fish and vegetables.
