The Passerina from Poderi San Lazzaro is a typical white wine from the Marche region, light and easy to drink. It features a bouquet with floral hints alternating with ripe yellow fruit and a fresh sip with good persistence.

The Passerina “Corolla” by Poderi San Lazzaro is a daily white wine with an overwhelming drinkability, with a quality-price ratio that is hard to match. When you manage to find a wine that is original and faithfully expresses a territory for under 10 euros a bottle, you have to hold onto it tightly. This is undoubtedly the case with the Passerina from Poderi San Lazzaro, a family-run winery led by Paolo Capriotti, which has its 8.5 hectares extending near Offida, one of the most vocated areas for the cultivation of Pecorino and Passerina. The idea is to tell the story of the territory in a simple and unadorned way, avoiding forced interventions, and enhancing both the fruit from the younger vines and those over 70 years old, all cultivated organically. Simplicity that is never trivial.

The Passerina “Corolla” white wine is made from pure grapes of the same name, sourced from vineyards cultivated on clay-limestone soils with rather limited yields. In the vineyard, organic farming practices have always been adopted with conviction.organic farming, avoiding the use of pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical substances. In the winery, alcoholic fermentation continues in steel tanks and aging on the lees for several months, in order to combine freshness and complexity.

The Passerina wine "Corolla" presents itself in the glass with a straw-yellow hue adorned with golden reflections. The nose is subtle yet not simple, preferring delicate strokes over bold traits, revealing in succession bouquets of white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruit. The sip is savory, sleek and enlivened by a pleasant freshness, making it a versatile and unique wine.
