Pinot Grigio Dario Coos 2024
The Pinot Grigio by Dario Coos is a Friulian white wine characterized by the splendid balance between lightness and persistence that makes it a wine to always have in the cellar for a lunch among friends. It pairs well with a variety of fish dishes, from appetizers to mains, as well as hearty vegetable soups. It is aged for at least 4 months in steel and emits aromas of apple, linden flowers, and vanilla.
Dario Coos Pinot Grigio is pale straw yellow with brilliant reflections. Notes of golden apple, pear, linden flowers, mandarin, and cut grass describe the olfactory range, associated with sweet hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is balanced and of appreciable complexity, quite light in progression but not lacking in solid structure and good persistence.
Colli Orientali del Friuli made up of an alternation of marls and sandstones of Eocene origin. After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo a rapid and gentle soft pressing, so as not to extract the coppery color contained in the skins, with the must thus obtained being conveyed into stainless steel tanks for controlled temperature alcoholic fermentation. This is followed by aging of at least 4 months always in steel on the noble lees.
