The Pinot Grigio from Tenuta Belvedere is a fresh and fragrant white wine from Oltrepò Pavese, aged for 10 months in steel tanks and for an additional 8 months in bottle. It has aromas of lemon zest and ripe pear pulp, accompanied by scents of wildflowers and white peaches, revealing a balanced and mineral sip, fresh yet soft and particularly smooth, with persistent sapidity.

The Pinot Grigio from the Tenuta Belvedere winery is a rich, intense, and fragrant white wine produced in the Oltrepò Pavese area in the province of Pavia, a wine-growing region that is highly suited but often overlooked as it deserves. This bottle is made from pure Pinot Grigio grapes, sourced from vineyards located on hills at about 260 meters above sea level. The vines are trained on trellises with Guyot pruning, following methods dictated by organic farming, on soils characterized by clay-limestone compositions. The winery is a young establishment acquired in 2013 by Gianluca Cabrini, a winemaker driven by a vibrant passion for the Oltrepò terroir who, with great commitment and through the practice of low-impact viticulture, produces wines of great expressiveness.

The Pinot Grigio from Tenuta Belvedere is made with hand-picked and carefully selected grapes both in the vineyard, at the moment of their perfect ripeness, and in the winery. The bunches, upon reaching the winery, are destemmed and gently pressed to undergo a brief maceration in a press for about 10 hours at cold temperatures. Then, pressing proceeds with the elimination of the skins, after which the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation, using exclusively indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel tanks for several weeks. Subsequently, the wine remains in aging for at least 10 months in stainless steel containers before being bottled and continuing its maturation in the bottle for an additional 8 months before being released on the market.

The Pinot Grigio from Tenuta Belvedere presents itself with a bright straw-yellow color with slight golden reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe yellow fruit and citrus emerge, including peach, pear, golden apple, and lemon zest, floral notes of white and yellow flowers, hints of honey, and fragrant spices. On the palate, it is subtle, full, juicy, and dynamic, characterized by a pleasant freshness and a persistent finish played on savory and fruity notes. This wine from the Tenuta Belvedere winery is a pleasant and immediate white but not at all predictable, made as it once was, following artisanal methods.
