The "Anrar" Reserve from Cantina Andriano is a Pinot Noir vinified in purity that comes from the famous Mazzon vineyard, which enjoys a unique microclimate in the area. This red, which matures for a few months in large wooden barrels, offers intense fruity notes of black currant and blackberries on the nose, presenting itself with beautiful elegance and aromatic richness. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and possesses a good taste-olfactory harmony.

Pinot Noir Reserve “Arnar” by Adriano is a complex and elegant wine, produced in hillside vineyards overlooking the Dolomites. A bottle that is part of the “selections” of this South Tyrolean winery, it is an excellent interpretation of this grape variety known and appreciated for its great finesse. Certainly among the most interesting labels produced by the winery, it is the ideal choice to accompany meat and game dishes, aged cheeses, and structured red meats.

The Reserve Pinot Noir “Arnar” is produced in vineyards located 500 meters above sea level, planted on mixed clay and limestone soils. In the soil, we find particles of dolomitic stone, which give the grapes a unique minerality, a typical characteristic of mountain wines. The grapes are hand-picked and then vinified in stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation occurs along with a maceration of about 10 days, during which delicate pump-overs are performed to ensure a slow and selective extraction. In this phase, the typical aromas of red fruits of the variety strongly emerge, which is then aged in large oak barrels, where it acquires the structure and complexity typical of this “Reserve.”

oak, where it acquires the structure and complexity typical of this “Reserve.”

“Arnar” presents an aromatic profile in which berries, and cherries dominate, accompanied by hints of sweet spices. Delicate aromas of tea leaves and a slightly smoky finish with light toasted notes complete the sensory picture. On the palate, it has a delicate and elegant entry; the sip is fresh and compact, supported by soft and pleasant tannins. A long and slightly balsamic finish makes this bottle intriguing and captivates at the first sip with its rich and enveloping taste, perfectly balanced by the typical freshness of this terroir.
