The Pinot Noir "Turmhof" is an elegant, fresh, and fruity red wine, with a youthful and dynamic personality. It comes from vineyards located up to 900 meters in altitude and is aged in large and small barrels for 8 months. On the nose, notes of blackberries, cherries, and raspberries emerge. The sip is soft and very balanced.
The Pinot Nero from the "Turmhof" line of Tiefenbrunner is a winning bet every vintage. This variety is indeed very difficult to cultivate as it has a thin skin and is sensitive to many external agents. Yet, it is a variety that is inextricably linked to the Alto Adige land, home of the Tiefenbrunner winery. From this terroir, the Pinot Nero absorbs a particular finesse, which enhances even more the refinement already inherent in the grape. It can therefore be said that it is the result of a successful combination of grape and soil, which has rightfully entered local tradition.
