Graham's is a fortified wine produced from grapes of the indigenous varieties of the Iberian Peninsula: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao, and Sousao, sourced from a selection of prized parcels cultivated in the stunning natural setting of the Douro Valley. It is a Porto of great balance and harmony, representing the perfect synthesis of fruity aromas and tertiary aging notes.
The 20 Years aged Porto Tawny fortified wine is a label with an elegant, complex, and intense character. It is produced by the winery W. & J. Graham's, a family-run business that creates high-quality wines following centuries-old traditions and the most ancient artisanal methods. The winery owns about 7 hectares, located in 5 renowned mountain vineyards in the best areas of the Douro Valley: Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages, Quinta da Vila Velha, and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas. The grapes for this label come from these renowned locations. At the end the harvest, the classic red winemaking with fortification is carried out, in order to reach 20% vol. The wines are then transported to Graham's Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, where they age for 20 years in oak barrels, in the mild and temperate climate of the Atlantic Ocean.
