The Port Tawny by Graham's aged for 30 years is a great fortified wine, a formidable and rich expression of Porto. Woody aromas of helzenuts and dried fruits animate an elegant taste with a very long, fruity and well-balanced finish

The 30-Year-Old Tawny Port from W. & J. Graham’s winery is a deep and extremely pleasant fortified red wine produced exclusively from grapes sourced from 5 renowned crus - Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages, Quinta da Vila Velha, and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas - in the Douro Valley, northern Portugal. This label is an Aged Tawny Port, a wine made from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao, and Sousao grapes, which is then fortified by adding wine spirit or aguardente and undergoes a long oxidative maturation in barrels, in this case, for a full 30 years. The winery, which owns about 7 hectares of vineyards managed organically, is a family-run business now managed by the Symington family, who purchased it in 1970 and personally oversee all aspects of production, from winemaking to bottling.

The W. & J. Graham’s 30-Year-Old Tawny Port is made from carefully selected grapes, hand-harvested at the peak of ripeness.their optimal ripeness, generally in October. The bunches are then taken to the winery where they are crushed, partly manually in stone “lagares”, low tanks for crushing, and partly, due to the scarcity of labor, in automated stainless steel “lagares”. Subsequently, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation for about 24 to 36 hours or until it reaches 5-9 degrees of alcohol, after which fermentation is stopped by the addition of alcohol to create a sweet fortified wine. The Porto thus obtained is then taken to Graham's Lodge, in Villa Nova de Gaia, where it ages in 534-liter oak barrels for a period of 30 years.

dense, juicy, and velvety, characterized by great balance and an incredibly long finish that seems never to fade. This Aged Port from W. & J. Graham’s is vibrant and fresh yet extremely complex, perfect for a moment of meditation or as the final act to conclude a dinner with friends.
