"Fagher" Prosecco Brut is balanced sparkling wine with a beautiful liveliness and dynamism. The bouquet is rich with hints of citrus and balsamic notes that, at the end, gives way to notes of bread, fine and persistent
The Prosecco Brut "Fagher" Magnum from the Le Colture winery is a truly high-quality sparkling wine, the most modern and internationally successful one. An inviting and very delicate sweetness accompanied by a unique balance and harmony, where citrus notes and vegetal sensations alternate with hints of bread crust. Le Colture boasts 500 years of history, and in 1983 Cesare Ruggeri started the production of sparkling wines, finding himself in one of the most suitable areas of Italy: the hills of Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, which became a UNESCO heritage site in 2019.
The “Fagher” is a Prosecco Brut made up of 90% Glera and 10% Chardonnay. It is a sparkling wine that comes from the splendid scenery of Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, a small town nestled in the heart of the Prosecco hills. 45 hectares of vineyard area throughout the Valdobbiadene territory allow for the production of wines with a great personality and intense territoriality. After the harvest from mid-September to mid-October the grapes undergo a soft pressing and fermentation in steel tanks occurs without contact with the skins, at controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in autoclave according to the standards of the Charmat method.
The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene “Fagher” presents itself visually with a beautiful straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. Once in the glass, the bouquet reveals itself to be quite rich and full of citrus scents, especially grapefruit and lemon, with touches of balsamic notes that give it depth. There are also hints of exotic fruit, primarily pineapple, and a few whiffs of thyme, on a crunchy bread finish. This Prosecco is fresh, dry, elegant, with great balance, and has a nice character that makes it complete. “Fagher”, a modern Prosecco, a model sparkling wine, even more prestigious in Magnum format.
