The Trocken Dr.Fischer-Hofstatter is a Riesling mineral and extremely seductive, which has no residual sugar. The meeting between Martin Foradori Hofstatter and Nik Weis dates back to 2014 and could not have been more fruitful. The two producers decided to invest in the historic German winery Dr. Fischer, having the opportunity to express the Riesling in cru of rare selection. Besides the remarkable longevity typical of the grape and area, the style of Martin and Nik ensures that the wines are approachable and enjoyable from the start. A pure expression of terroir, all to be discovered.
The Riesling Trocken Dr. Fischer - Hofstatter comes from grapes harvested in some of the most prestigious crus of the Moselle, the elected homeland of the famous white grape variety. Regarding the German designation, which considers the ripening of the grape and consequently its sugar content, the word Trocken indicates the bunches with lower sugar content, ranging from 4 to 9 g/l. The resulting wine is therefore dry and makes explosive minerality its strong point.

The nose immediately reveals a rich and mature profile, which successively unfolds notes of exotic fruit, including mango and pineapple, as well as peach and bunches of white flowers. In the second instance, but always present, the profile is enriched by a pleasant mineral note. A sip that masterfully combines freshness and substance, flows over the palate like velvet, always smooth and inviting for another taste. A beautiful version of Riesling, simple yet extremely focused.
