The Roero Arneis "Camestri" by Marco Porello is a Piedmontese white wine of pleasant typicity and territoriality, vinified only in steel tanks. On the nose, it releases an intense and clean organoleptic profile, with notes of citrus, lily of the valley, jasmine, and aromatic herbs, particularly basil. The sip is smooth, fresh, and taut, with pleasant savoriness and long citrus echoes.

The Roero Arneis “Camestri” Porello is a Piedmontese white wine with strongly identifiable traits, born within the Roero area, a landscape that serves as a backdrop to the evolution of the winery during its history over the last 90 years. An Arneis that shines thanks to a steel processing that enhances its aromatic profile, always very clear and sharp on the nose, where various olfactory hints alternate, leading to a direct and refreshing sip, very pleasant. An extremely versatile label in the kitchen, which proves to be an excellent companion when looking for a wine with “universal” gastronomic traits, capable of pairing with fish, white meats, and a multitude of other ingredients.

This “Camestri” Porello is a Roero Arneis that comes from a vineyard – the name of which is given to the label itself – located in the municipality of Vezza d’Alba, characterized by a south/east facing slightly sloping terrain, abundant in limestone and sand. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in stainless steel containers, where the temperature is always kept under control, for a total of 20 days. The wine remains for several months on the fine lees in steel to mature, until the winery begins the bottling operations.

The Roero Arneis “Camestri” signed by the Porello winery presents itself visually with a concentrated straw yellow color. Flowers dance around the nostrils with subtle and light notes, enriched by fruity hints and touches of aromatic herbs that gradually become more evident. On the palate, it has a light body, where the sip flows with freshness, favoring an “easy” and repeatable drink, in which one appreciates a savory and aromatic vein of good persistence. A classic white of the Piedmontese type interpreted within the denomination par excellence, that of Roero where the roots and traditions of the Porello winery lie.
