The Roero Arneis 'Innav' by Gabriele Cordero is a dedication to Vanni, the grandfather of Gabriele and Serena Cordero, who taught young winemakers the love for the land, the grape, and the wine. 'Innav' is a fresh, mineral, and extremely aromatic white wine: on the nose, it expresses notes of tropical fruit and white peach, on the palate it is complex, juicy, and persistent.

On the left bank of the Tanaro River, north of the renowned Langhe, the Roero Arneis ‘Innav’ by Gabriele and Serena Cordero is born, a Piedmontese white wine with a fine and mineral aromatic profile. In the Roero area, famous also for the homonymous denomination reserved for Nebbiolo, Arneis is the most widespread variety. Although highly appreciated in antiquity, the modern success of this grape variety began in the '70s of the last century thanks to visionary producers who resumed vinifying it in purity focusing on quality. The name ‘Innav’ is a tribute to the late grandfather of Serena and Gabriele, Vanni, also depicted on the label while harvesting grapes together with Gabriele, still a child.

The Roero Arneis ‘Innav’ by Gabriele and Serena Cordero is a 100% Arneis from vines about 30 years old planted in predominantly sandy soils in the municipality of Priocca. The plants, located at 300 meters above sea level with southeast exposure, are cultivated according to sustainable viticulture. After the harvest, a soft pressing of the grapes follows, with the must that is conveyed into stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. In the same type of wine containers, the subsequent phase of aging on fine lees also takes place, which lasts for a few months accompanied by frequent batonnage.

Gabriele and Serena Cordero Roero Arneis ‘Innav’ has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose unfolds with delicate hints of white peach, citrus, mango, and wildflowers, enriched by mineral sensations and fresh sage. Fresh and pleasantly fruity the tasting, endowed with a long mineral persistence. A tasty Arneis in youth and able to easily support a further short aging in bottle.
