Fresh and easy-drinking, it expresses a beautiful acidity and a delicately fruity finish on the palate, while the nose highlights notes of wild strawberries, cherry, and herbal hints. Perfect to accompany light spring and summer dishes.
The Rioja Rosado produced by sisters Clara and Patricia Espinosa of the Señorio de Librares winery is a bottle that can be appreciated for its lively and buoyant spirit, characteristic of the type. The winemaking approach adopted by the Espinosa sisters, the latest generation of a family of wine producers with over 150 years of viticultural history, aims to adapt modern knowledge and techniques of the sector to the established Rioja winemaking tradition. Alongside the production of excellent white and especially red wines, the DOCa Rioja is also a protagonist of excellent rosé wines, like this Rosado, generally vinified through a brief contact between the must and the skins.
Señorio de Librares Rioja Rosado originates from an equivalent blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta grapes, grown in the Rioja Baja region following eco-sustainable agronomic practices. After harvesting, the bunches are transferred to the winery and vinified through 24 hours of skin maceration, with alcoholic fermentation taking place at controlled temperature for a duration of about 15 days. The subsequent maturation phase of a few months takes place in inert containers and after a brief resting in the bottle, the wine is finally ready for marketing.
The Rosado Rioja from Señorio de Librares has a light and bright pink color. The nose offers immediate perceptions of wild strawberries, raspberry, and cherry, combined with slight herbaceous hints reminiscent of hay and cut grass. The taste is fresh and drinkable, with a nice acidity accompanying the delicately fruity finish. An excellent versatile rosé wine, ideal to enjoy chilled as an aperitif to refresh the senses during warm summer evenings.
