The "Centenario" 12 Years is a Rum highly appreciated by enthusiasts for its characteristic personality. It originates from a historic and famous distillery in Nicaragua. For five generations, Flor de Cana has been producing great Rums based on ancient expertise. The sugarcane used to produce the Rum is locally sourced and grows on volcanic soils rich in minerals, that can be found around the large cone of the San Cristobal volcano. Molasses and first-rate cane juice are fermented and then distilled five times with traditional pot stills to obtain a Rum of extraordinary finesse and aromatic richness. The aging phase takes place in the warm and humid climate of the Caribbean area, using American oak barrels, previously used for Bourbon aging.

Visually, it presents a dark amber color, with mahogany reflections tending towards red. The olfactory profile is of great richness, with a bouquet that expresses aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, oriental spices, soft notes of caramel, honey, nougat, citrus aromas of candied bitter orange peel, candied ginger, small red berry fruits, hints of almond, hazelnut, roasted sensations of roasting and noble woods.
