Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey is a Kentucky-style spirit that pays homage to pre-Prohibition distillates. The recipe is based on 53% rye, to which corn and barley malt are added, distilled in copper stills and matured in first-fill barrels made of sweet American oak. Its aromatic profile is complex, dominated by warm spices, woody notes and sweet hints of honey and marzipan. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a harmonious balance between sweetness and alcoholic warmth
