The Sacrisassi Bianco signed by Le Due Terre is a wine that combines integrity, breadth, and a refined mineral texture, a vital portrait in liquid form of a lesser-known slice of Friuli. The story of Sacrisassi is one of passion and strong bonds, particularly that between Flavio and Silvana, life and vineyard partners, concepts that are quite interchangeable when making such an all-encompassing choice. Thus, in 1984, Piero and Silvana acquired 5 hectares of land in Prepotto and established their dimension in a harmonious and sensitive way, planting the first vines and building their winery. Everything then takes shape, and local grape varieties such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Schioppettino, and Refosco find their sublimation under the watchful care of Piero and Silvana, who never overpower their expressiveness. Over 30 years later, Sacrisassi retains the taste of unchanging things and continues to gift us expressions where sensitivity and stylistic definition are tangible concepts.

The Sacrisassi Bianco wine is made from a blend predominantly consisting of Friulano and in a minor part from Ribolla. In the vineyard, as already mentioned, the natural cycles and expressiveness of the plants are fully respected, therefore the use of chemicals is rejected and only a bit of copper and sulfur is used. In the winery, the process continues with spontaneous alcoholic fermentations and aging of the liquid for 22 months in barrique and tonneau.

The Sacrisassi Bianco Le Due Terre presents itself in the glass with a straw-yellow hue edged with golden reflections. Refined and complex nose, extremely varied, that unfolds hints of green apple, citrus peel, and gooseberry, with an evident and constant mineral undertone. Full and intense sip, of great charm, a perfect blend of volume and remarkable savory length. Very luminous.
