Schiava Reyter 2019

Reyter's Schiava is a South Tyrolean red wine with a delicate and authentic personality, expressing the character of ancient vines grown in the areas of Caldaro and Termeno. The result of minimal intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar, it ferments spontaneously on the skins in steel tanks with the stems for 12 days, then ages for a long time in used barrels. The nose opens with aromas of red berries, dried flowers and almonds, in a gentle but characterful combination. On the palate, the wine is light, with a pleasant freshness and a finely bitter and spicy note that lengthens the finish, making it more complex than one might expect at first glance
