Christian Drouhin's Cider Demi-Sec is a very juicy, fresh and fairly sweet apple cider, produced without filtration or pasteurization. The typical aromas of apples, fresh fruit and white flowers accompany a fresh, easy drinking, and very pleasant taste, with a slight effervescence and subtle tannins on the finish

The Cider "Demi Sec" by Christian Drouin is one of the most interesting labels produced by this historic producer from Normandy. It is a cider with a slightly sweet and soft taste, made genuinely, according to the oldest traditions of the area, with a selection of ancient varieties of apples native, cultivated for centuries in the northern regions of France. The taste, intense and broad, expresses rich and juicy aromas of fresh apple, accompanied by floral nuances. It captivates the palate with a balanced sip, particularly pleasant to taste, thanks to its low alcohol content and its light and elegant effervescence.

The "Demi Sec" is produced in one of the most historically rich Domaines of Normandy. The Drouin Family has been cultivating apples for generations to produce Cider and Calvados, continuing an ancient custom of the region. The estate is located in the Auge, in Lower Normandy. It is here that many varieties of apples are still cultivated, which have been carefully preserved precisely for their unique characteristics. The perfect mix of sweet, bitter, and acidic apples allows for the creation of musts and distillates that are particularly complex, blending a thousand different aromatic facets. To the high-quality raw material, a savoir-faire based on centuries of experience is added, allowing for the creation of a label of the highest quality.

The Drouin Cider "Demi Sec" comes from a careful selection of native varieties of bitter, sweet, and acidic apples, which, thanks to a complementary flavor, manage to express a great taste balance. The apples are cleaned and processed, then fermented. The fermented apple must is bottled without any pasteurization process and without being filtered to maintain its organoleptic qualities. In the glass, it presents a golden yellow color, with a slight white foam. On the nose, it offers fragrant citrus aromas, delicate floral nuances, and intense aromas of ripe apple. The sip is satisfying and rich, juicy and smooth, pleasantly sweet, finding a perfect balance in the finish of beautiful freshness.
