"So San" is one of the best expressions of the Tai Rosso grape, more commonly known as Grenache. This red wine is produced in Veneto, in the Colli Berici, on clay and limestone soils, giving rise to a structured, soft expression with an aromatic profile of forest fruits and sweet spices.

The So San by Angiolino Maule is a red in which fleshiness and freshness meet, giving life to a liquid of rare personality. Angiolino Maule is an authoritative reference point in the world of artisanal wines, having chosen since 1988, the year of foundation of Biancara, to produce bottles that are unfiltered expressions of territory and grape variety. No tricks, no artifices. Just grapes, work, and passion, with a preference for the indigenous grapes present in Gambellara such as Garganega and Tai Rosso, with small plantings of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The result is in the glass, which speaks and tells. To be listened to carefully.

The red So San comes from pure Tai Rosso grapes, known in other areas as Grenache. A generous grape that gives life to liquids rich in extract, the clusters used to produce it come from a careful selection of plants that grow without the aid of chemical or synthetic substances. Harvest is strictly manual, and fermentation occurs spontaneously with maceration on the skins for about 15 days. Maturation of the liquid for 18 months in 1500-liter oak barrels, and bottling without clarification, filtration, or addition of sulfur.

oak barrels of 1500 liters, and bottling without clarification, filtration, or addition of sulfur.

The wine So San fills the glass with its transparent ruby dress, which shifts towards garnet. Explosive from the start, unlike other wines by Angiolino, it reveals all the generosity of Tai Rosso with hints of fruit in alcohol, spicy touches, earthy memories as if to underline its strong connection with the nourishment of the vine. The tasting returns a wine of substance, endowed with a enveloping texture but always tempered by a concrete contribution of salt and freshness. A great red, moody and at the same time classy.
