Pinot Noir 'Malterdinger' Bernhard Huber 2022
The Spätburgunder 'Malterdinger' from the Bernhard Huber winery comes from Pinot Noir vines planted about twenty years ago by Bernhard Huber, considered the 'father of Pinot Noir' in Germany. Today, the winery is run by his son Julian, who has reorganised the Malterdingen vineyards and continues to seek wines with exuberant personality, without lacking elegance. The bouquet is complex and very refined, opening with notes of black berries and hints of liquorice root, and closing with toasted accents. The palate is juicy and compact, with tight tannins and a long finish that enhances its character. Excellent with foie gras crostini and red fruit jam. Exemplary and precise
