An excellent Sparkling wine Extra Brut vintage made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, aged for 58 months on the lees in the bottle. Of a beautiful straw yellow color, the perlage is fine and persistent. It offers elegant aromas, with fruity and floral notes and hints of baking. The sip is full, soft, clean, and enveloping, with a pleasant crunchy finish

The Extra Brut Spumante Bruno Giacosa is a sparkling wine that blends creaminess and freshness, the latest creation from a winery that has made history in Italian wine. A classic method of rare finesse conceived by Bruno Giacosa, a legend who has marked the history of the Langhe wine region, made from grapes sourced from selected suppliers in Oltrepò Pavese, where Pinot Nero expresses itself brilliantly. An ancestral practice, always used to produce great Barolo, of which Bruno was a proponent, but achievable only with raw materials of excellence, the same quality found in all the bottles from the winery, an emblem of classicism.

The Extra Brut by Bruno Giacosa comes from pure Pinot Nero grapes, the result of careful selection of suppliers from Oltrepò Pavese. It seems almost strange, therefore, that one of the best Italian classic methods from pure Pinot Nero is produced in the Langhe, but for enthusiasts, it is not a surprise given the extremely high quality standard of the bottles produced by the winery. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers, followed by the classic re-fermentation in the bottle. The resulting liquid ages for about 58 months on the lees, and the long resting period gives it richness and complexity. It can also be uncorked quite a while after the disgorgement date, to fully appreciate its acquired maturity.

The Extra Brut Spumante presents itself in the glass with a golden color and very fine perlage. An emblematic and refined nose, revealing in succession currants, wild strawberries with hints of pastry and bread crust. A journey between Langhe and Oltrepò, skillfully orchestrated. A splendid sip for cohesion and elegance, surprisingly drinkable despite the long aging that gives it structure and complexity. An Italian classic method that stands on equal footing with its much more famous French counterparts and at an absolutely advantageous price. A must-have in your cellar!
